Was the son of Mrs. L. Niman of 357
Newport Road, who tragically met his death through enemy action, on
August Bank Holiday Monday 1942, when Middlesbrough experienced a
sharp blitz, during lunch hour. Previous to his death, he had joined
the RAF and was waiting to be called up.
