Notes for BARNETT (BARNEY) (BERL) (BERNARD) SMOLLAN:

He was a slipper maker and the family resided at 22 Farrer St, Middlesbrough, between 1894 and 1904. Buried at Middlesbrough Old Cemetery Grave no. 155. Barnett had a first wife by whom he had a son and a daughter and these two children lived with Barnett, his second wife Rosie, and their children. The son from the first wife emigrated to the USA and is the father of the American Smollans', Lilian, Mary and David.
